Is Counterpane available?
Not yet. The game is in development. This page and the product page describe the build as it stands; an App Store listing and TestFlight are planned but not available yet.
What is the free-play allowance?
Free play gives you fifteen minutes of active foreground play per fixed six-hour window. The window starts on the first second of play, unused time expires, and the allowance is global: starting a new run does not refill it. A board in progress is always finished.
When the allowance is spent, the rest card shows the exact local time of the next allowance. There is no countdown.
A single one-time purchase removes the wait. There is no subscription, no consumables, and no advertising.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the … menu and choose Restore Purchase. Restore is also available from the Unlock Counterpane sheet and from the rest card shown when the allowance is spent.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Play is fully offline. Buying or restoring the unlock uses Apple’s StoreKit and needs a connection. Anonymous telemetry is sent when a connection is available, but it never blocks play.
Will I lose my game if I close the app?
No. The run survives closing the app, and a board in progress is restored when you come back. Deleting the app deletes the save.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Accessibility
The board stays fully visible at large Dynamic Type sizes; the surrounding text grows and is capped. Reduce Motion removes movement and keeps the fades. Hints are announced to VoiceOver. Light and dark appearances can be chosen in the menu or follow the system.
Privacy
Counterpane has no account and collects no personal information. It sends anonymous usage telemetry that you can turn off in the menu. The privacy policy has the detail.
